SQL Server DBA / Programmer

We're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled DBA / Programmer to join our development team.
We provide an innovative service to local authorities throughout the UK by:
- Ensuring the accurate correction and completion of Housing Benefit and Council Tax claim forms, ready for further assessment by the specialist assessors at the Local Authority office, before loading into the benefits system.
- Providing accurate indexing of all types of Revenues transactions received via web forms (e.g. Change of Address, Direct Debit mandates, Single Occupier Discounts,) ready for loading into Local Authority back office systems.
What the role requires
The prerequisite technical skills required are at least 2 years of the following:
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes
- Monitor system's health and performance
- Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
- Analyse, solve, and correct issues in real-time & provide suggestions for solutions
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
- Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities
- Transact - SQL
