Partnerships and longevity; latest customer renewals

It’s been a busy year end, but we’re grateful that Bedford Borough Council, City of Edinburgh Council, Dudley Council, Dumfries and Galloway Council, Milton Keynes Council, North Ayrshire Council, Northampton Borough Council, Northumberland County Council, Reigate and Banstead Borough Council and South Ayrshire Council, have all chosen to renew our digital process automation services.

Collectively renewing for over 30 years, we are proud that they see the value webCAPTURE, eCAPTURE and UCDS bring to their local authority. What’s more, many of these customers have subscribed to our services for over a decade – we don’t take that for granted.

“Our entire focus is on achieving the business outcomes customers want to realise through automation. Councils like Edinburgh, which has extended our partnership for up to 8 more years, show that focusing on what customers value builds partnerships that endure. Customers don’t want technology. They want business outcomes.”

Andrew Melvin, Managing Director, Govtech Solutions

We’re here for our customers and they’re there for us.

Our customers share a willingness to engage with us. By working with councils large and small, we have delivered digital transformation benefits that every council can exploit. Automation is at the heart of what we do; we deliver it, measure it, share and compare performance across councils, but it’s our customers’ commitment to embrace automation and put customers first that delivers their success.

Over the last year, we’ve automated 13,377,530 online Revenues and Benefits interactions. We don’t use robots because they’re not clever enough to handle Revenues & Benefits but, if they were, we would need 119 of them each completing and submitting one screen for every minute of every 7.4-hour working day of the year. The time and effort saved, and the consistency and accuracy delivered by automation, means our customers benefit from much better resource allocation, using the right skills on the right activities and retaining specialist expertise for the most complex cases.

“We are delighted to be extending our long association with Govtech. For more than 6 years, they have delivered end-to-end automation in a complex Revenues & Benefits world. We know how hard that can be amid constant change but we don’t need to school them. We can’t envisage a better solution.”

Neil Jamieson, Senior Manager, Customer & Digital Services, City of Edinburgh Council
