Merry Christmas from Govtech
As the holidays fast approach, we’d like to take a minute to wish all our customers, colleagues and partners a very Merry Christmas! This year has whizzed by in a flash so it’s a big thanks to all our customers for keeping us so busy. We wouldn’t want it any other way.
The Govtech team assembled last Tuesday, 9th December, at the fabulously refurbished King’s Head in Cirencester to mark the festive season, reminisce over the past year and celebrate the continued growth of the Govtech customer community. The room felt pretty full with ten new colleagues having joined since last year. We were delighted to welcome them all and show them what a Govtech party is all about.

With food, fun and refreshments aplenty, not to mention Alan’s infamous quiz, a great afternoon was had by all. Despite a few Netcall colleague apologies at the last minute, it transpired they had some exciting news of their own to announce the following day. But no Govtech party is complete without Tim, sadly absent while recovering from an operation, so we felt we should do something to channel some Christmas cheer in his general direction.
This one’s for you, Tim
With everyone gathered together, and after just one swift rehearsal, we pulled off a rendition of ‘We Wish you a Merry Christmas!’ just for Tim to boost his morale and remind him of the camaraderie he’s done so much to build here at Govtech. You can watch our enthusiastic (if slightly ragged) number a bit further down.
Highlights for 2025
With too many to name them all, some of the standout highlights for this year include: releasing all our web forms on the Netcall Liberty Create low-code platform and migrating so many existing customers across (without so much as a blink); welcoming South Tyneside, Gateshead, Denbighshire and Sutton to our community of customers; marking several 5- and 10-year employment anniversaries and celebrating Govtech’s 20th anniversary; sponsoring Circus Starr to take 10 severely disabled and mentally impaired children to the Circus for the 15th consecutive year; seeing 10 new members of staff bed-in and, last and far from least, congratulating Alannah, Lizzie and Emily on becoming new Mums again.
Welcoming new customers is a delight but so is seeing existing customers renew their services to become long-standing partners, which highlights the impact and importance automation has in their Revenues and Benefits service. And we get a regular buzz when sites go live with additional webCAPTURE modules to broaden and deepen automation. That’s what the Govtech team is here to do – and we’ll be doing a lot more of it in 2026. Watch this space.
All that’s left to say for 2025
Meanwhile, on behalf of everyone at Govtech, I’d like to wish all of you a joyful and well-earned Christmas break and a very Happy New Year for 2026.
